Unmoving ladybird

10/6/2025

Ladybird is said to mean different things in different countries. It can be a lucky bug or a pest. In Japan, it can be either, At least in my house now, it's a complete pest.

They eat trees in the garden and lay their eggs on the undersides of leaves. They also congregate on the front porch, so it's a bit of a camp. And this morning, there was one perched on the wall of the stairwell.

I look at it at nine in the morning and say, 'Oh, there it is'. I look at it at 12 o'clock in the afternoon and say, "...... still there? Why doesn't it move? I feel like I'm already losing.

At least move, ladybird. If you want to make fun of overworked people, At least move a step.
